Your life in chapters

Guided questions for the memories only you can tell.

OwnLight Life is a starting place for writing personal memories. Choose a chapter about places, people or turning points, then use three questions to bring one moment into focus. You do not need to begin at the beginning of your life or explain every year.

Small details can give a memory its shape: the room, a familiar sound, a person’s way of speaking. Moving between chapters keeps the answers already typed in this tab. Download them together when you are ready; the website does not create an online archive.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose a chapter that brings a memory to mind.
  2. Answer any of its questions, then explore another chapter if you like.
  3. Download your answers together before leaving or carry them to a compatible app for review.

A few useful answers

Can I write the chapters out of order?

Yes. Begin with any place, person or change you remember. The chapter choices help you find a starting point, not follow a fixed biography template.

Will my memories be published?

No. There is no public profile or publishing feature here. Your answers stay in the browser tab until you explicitly download, copy or carry them in an app link.

Review your writing

Have a compatible OwnLight build installed? Open these words for review there, edit them, then choose Save. If the app does not open, use the backup. Your browser copy stays here.

Your writing is carried in the link after #, rather than uploaded to our server. That link can remain in your browser history; anyone you share it with can read the carried text.
